Migraine is a genetic neurological disease. There is no cure for this disease yet. More than 36 million Americans live with this disease, yet the NIH funds very little research into Migraine or other headache disorders.
Some misguided individuals will tell you they have a cure for Migraines, that doctors and drug companies are keeping the world from knowing about their cure. This is utter nonsense. As a prominent patient advocate has told more than one of these people, if that were true, it would be worthy of a Pulitzer prize, and any major journalist would help them prove their point.
There are treatments of all kinds that can work very well. Some are dietary supplements, some are medical and dental devices, some are pharmaceuticals. Each person has to work with their doctor to discover what works best for them.
If someone tells you they can cure Migraines, they are mistaken or trying to capitalize on a disease to get money from you. Don't believe them!
